Caroline County Planning Commission elects Schwartz chair, Richard Williams vice chair

The Caroline County Planning Commission re-elected Commissioner Schwartz as chair and selected Commissioner Richard Williams as vice chair during its Jan. 23 organizational meeting.
Commissioner Schwartz was nominated and, after a second, the commission conducted a roll-call vote. Commissioners recorded their votes as follows: Dr. Horton — aye; Mr. Rollins — aye; Mr. Young — aye; Mr. Weaver — aye; Mr. Williams — aye. The chair congratulated Schwartz and returned the meeting to him.
Commissioner Richard Williams was nominated for vice chair and the commission took a roll-call vote. Commissioners Rollins, Dr. Horton, Schwartz, Young and Weaver voted in favor; Williams accepted the nomination when asked and vice chair was confirmed.
After the votes, Schwartz opened the organizational meeting and continued into the regular agenda.
No formal changes to membership or appointments beyond the chair and vice-chair selections were recorded during the meeting.
