At its Jan. 21 meeting the Yukon Traffic Commission discussed a conflict for the commission's regular November meeting date and agreed to defer the final scheduling decision until October.
Members noted the Board of Adjustment is currently scheduled to meet on Nov. 3 and explored alternatives, including moving the traffic commission meeting to Nov. 4, Nov. 5 or Nov. 6, or to later in the month. Commissioners discussed the possibility of moving the Nov. 3 meeting time to 7 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. if the Board of Adjustment met at 6 p.m. but said a final decision should wait until the Board of Adjustment publishes its agenda two weeks before the meeting.
The commission agreed to table the November-date decision until October and asked staff to follow up with members about conflicts. The commission also confirmed its next meeting will be Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025.
The meeting opened with roll call and approval of the Dec. 10, 2024, minutes and closed after the agenda items were addressed.
