Board approves modified schedule waiver for state tests at high school for three years

The board approved the request for the next three school years, removing the need to repeat the waiver annually.
Administrators said the waiver reduces congestion in testing spaces (typically the gym) and acknowledges the staff time required to proctor state exams. The district identified specific dates in April for the 2025 testing window; the board approved the waiver for the high school for up to three years so the district does not need to reapply each year.
The motion passed unanimously, 7-0.
