Community Budget Agreement Committee reassigns project managers, approves four requisitions

The Community Budget Agreement Committee approved four fund requisition requests and then spent most of its Jan. 21 meeting reassigning project managers and directing staff to review longstanding projects and unused funds.

The committee, meeting by Zoom at 10:06 a.m., voted to approve the meeting agenda and minutes, approved four fund requisitions and then reviewed a long list of Community Preservation and other legacy projects, assigning individual members to take oversight of particular files and to check that projects remain within the scope of their original applications.

Why it mattered: committee members said the backlog of multi‑year projects and incomplete paperwork has led to funds sitting unused in town accounts.
