Supervisors approved a law-enforcement agreement with the incorporated city of Middletown for 2025–26. Under the agreement, Middletown will pay $16,750 (the second half) by April 30, 2026; the first half of the payment is due Oct. 1, 2025. County staff said the agreement continues the county’s prior patrol and response arrangement with the small city (about 340 residents).
The board approved a personnel action granting unpaid FML hours (74.88) for an employee, Angela Dunham. The board also canvassed the 2 Rivers Levy and Drainage District election results from Jan. 11, 2025 and certified that Dan Lance and Jeff Hedges each received nine votes; supervisors described the result as unanimous.
