Carrie Smith and Dr. Remnick (student-voice/anti-bullying lead) told trustees the district's approach combines monthly campus anti-bullying committees, Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) strategies and student voice sessions to shape prevention and response plans. Staff said the committees include teachers, parents and students and that each campus selects two focus areas for the year.
