Planning commission approves minutes and findings of fact; study session continues on comprehensive plan

The Englewood City Planning & Zoning Commission on Jan. 22 voted to approve the meeting minutes and findings of fact and then proceeded to a staff‑led study session on the comprehensive-plan update.
The commission first approved the previous meeting’s minutes after a motion and second. The roll-call vote recorded aye votes from Commissioner Montiel, Commissioner Bridal, Commissioner Martinez, Commissioner Renson and Commissioner Kaplan; Commissioner Adams and Commissioner Hubka/Hapka recorded abstentions; Chair Hagerty voted aye. The chair announced the motion passed.
The commission then moved to approve the findings of fact. After a motion and a second, the record shows yea votes from Montiel, Bridal, Martinez, Renson, Kaplan and Chair Hagerty; Commissioners Adams and Hubka/Hapka were recorded as abstaining. The chair announced the motion passed.
Following those procedural approvals, staff presented the comprehensive-plan update study session for commission discussion; no new ordinances, rezones or formal policy adoptions were taken at the Jan. 22 meeting.
