- Appointment of auditors: Council appointed John Hannah & Sons LLC to audit 2024. Motion moved and seconded; motion carried.
- Reappointments: Council reappointed Joseph Lombardo to a five-year term on the zoning hearing board and reappointed Michelle Munt to a five-year term on the planning committee. Motions carried.
- Snow removal contract extension: Council exercised its option to extend the snow removal contract with ADU Services for one additional year, covering April 15, 2025–April 15, 2026. Motion carried on roll call.
- Police contract: Council approved a three-year collective bargaining agreement with FOP Lodge 27 covering Jan. 1, 2025–Dec. 31, 2027 (see separate article). Motion carried by roll call.
- Minutes and reports: Council approved meeting minutes (Dec. 17), the financial advisor’s report and payment of bills, and accepted police, fire, engineering, solicitor, and manager reports where motions were made and carried.
Other administrative items included solicitation of bids for a four-year sanitary sewer cleaning and maintenance contract (staff to prepare bids for the February meeting), submission of a CDBG application for a $275,000 playground replacement at Mcbatten Park, and approvals related to leasing and other routine matters.
