The Waunakee Village Board on Monday approved a warranty deed and a second amendment to the Kilkenny Farms West Phase 1 residential development agreement that will relocate planned water facilities to Lot 18 within the plat at no cost to the village.
Village staff told the board the developer agreed to convey Lot 18, adjacent to Out Lot 6, so the utilities and water storage facilities can be sited there. The second amendment updates phasing and related administrative language in the development agreement to reflect the new location. Staff said the action is administrative in nature and the conveyance does not require payment by the village.
Attorney and staff noted that related standard utility easements may be necessary; the motion approved the conveyance and the development agreement amendment “subject to final review and approval by Wanek Utilities’ general manager and village attorney.” The packet pages containing the deed and amendment were referenced (pages 59–66), and an exhibit showing a developer‑constructed water main from Shriner Road to the out lots was placed before trustees for review.
