Fluvanna BZA names officers, adopts 2025 bylaws and adjusts meeting schedule

At its Jan. 21 meeting, the Fluvanna County Board of Zoning Appeals elected officers for 2025, adopted its 2025 bylaws and amended the meeting calendar to move the November meeting to Nov. 25.

The board adopted a meeting schedule for 2025 with an amended November date to avoid Veterans Day; staff said the planning commission meets Nov. 18, so the BZA will meet Nov. 25. A motion to adopt the schedule as amended carried by voice vote.
The board also voted to adopt the 2025 bylaws as presented and agreed the bylaws would be updated at the next meeting to incorporate specific language the county is preparing.
