Superintendent reports successful payroll migration to PowerSchool; board seat vacant after resignation

Finnerty said the work required intensive remote collaboration over several days and that the migration was largely invisible to the public but important to district operations. Board members joined the superintendent in thanking the staff who worked through the break to ensure payroll continuity.
Finnerty also announced that board member Tina MacDyer had submitted a resignation effective Jan. 1. He said the board expects to appoint a new member at its Jan. 28 meeting and that candidates should submit a letter of interest and a resume to Vice President Jay Strunk at the district office by Jan. 23. Finnerty added that the board will hold an internal vote to elect a new board president after the appointment.
Board members offered public thanks to MacDyer for service since 2018 and to staff involved in the PowerSchool migration.
