After returning from closed session late on Jan. 16, the Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD board of trustees announced a motion to extend the superintendent's contract by one year following a successful evaluation.
Trustee Kim Brady moved the extension and trustees seconded and approved the motion unanimously. The board did not read contract details into the public record during open session; the action was recorded as an approved personnel decision following the evaluation process.
Board President Randy Schackman declared the vote unanimous and adjourned the meeting shortly after the action was recorded.
