New Health and Social Services Ombudsman outlines office role, staffing and budget needs

Alex Williamson, a budget and policy analyst with the Legislative Services Office, told the committee the office was created by Senate Bill 1380 and is charged with monitoring and evaluating public and private compliance in the provision of health and social services for children under state care.
