At the board’s public comment period, Tessa Stewart, a parent of two West High students, said the district has given “such little information” about the removal and that the decision appeared to have been made “in secrecy.” “This really has fractured the community at West,” Stewart said. “It just feels like it’s been done in secrecy and I don’t feel like it’s been done to protect Doctor Wright, but to protect the district.”
