Saint Charles proclaims Random Acts of Kindness Week, celebrates 50 years of girls sports and honors four 'Made in Saint Charles' businesses

Event organizers invited the public to legacy events culminating with a St. Charles East vs. North girls basketball game on Jan. 31.
Representatives of the St. Charles Business Alliance presented the 2024 Made in Saint Charles awards. The winners announced were CDM Coffeehouse (Dennis and Celeste Walker), Brown Butter Bakery & Cafe (Dawn Phillips), Deer Donuts (Sue Park) and Kimmer's Ice Cream (Kimberly and Isaac Gates). The alliance noted this is the program's third year and invited attendees to find videos and profiles of winners at www.stcalliance.org/stcmakers. Event staff and volunteers were recognized by name during the presentation.
