The Troy Planning Commission reappointed its chair and vice chair and named Missus Ehrlich to a three-year term on the CRA Housing Council at its Jan. 22, 2025 meeting.
The commission voted unanimously to reappoint Mister McGarry and Mister Wolke to their respective leadership positions. The motion to reappoint was moved and seconded and passed on a roll-call vote with all members present voting in favor.
The reappointment followed a brief reorganization item at the start of the meeting. The chair opened nominations and noted that he and Larry Wilkie had discussed continuing in their roles; a member moved to reappoint Mister McGarry and Mister Wolke and a second was recorded. Roll-call votes recorded “aye” or “yes” from Mister Wolke, Mister Titterington, the Mayor, Drummerich and Mister McGarry; the chair declared the motion approved.
The commission also approved the minutes from its Dec. 11, 2024 meeting by unanimous voice vote.
On the CRA Housing Council appointment, the commission heard that Missus Ehrlich’s previous term expired Dec. 31, 2024 and that she was willing to serve again. A motion to appoint Ehrlich to a three-year term commencing Jan. 1, 2025 was moved, seconded and approved by roll call with all commissioners voting yes.
No public-comment issues or dissent were recorded during these agenda items; the meeting moved on to Certificate of Appropriateness applications after the appointments.
The commission adjourned after completing the day's items.
