Board sends 7th District fire tax rate increase to public hearing after no public comments

The board moved and seconded a direction to carry the fire tax rate increase as part of the recommended public hearing and approved the motion by voice vote.
By forwarding the proposal to the county-level public hearing, the 7th District tax-rate change will be presented at the Board's April public hearing, where members of the public can comment and the board will consider final action.
