Board members reviewed a revised hangar-lease document compiled from county attorney notes and asked staff to update lease dates and contact information before issuing new agreements to hangar owners.
Aubrey (staff member) summarized the list of existing hangar leases and noted two leases that appear to have reached their 20-year term: Ron Lasser (lease dated 2000) and an owner listed as Keller (lease dated 1994). The board noted those leases will require renewed signatures and that staff will prepare updated documents reflecting the correct lease dates and account/contact information. The board agreed staff will provide the updated lease packet for signatures; several members said the leases can be signed at a future meeting or by the co-chair when available.
Aubrey also reported the current hangar-lease request list: one applicant (Parker) passed, staff has contacted the next person on the list, and a new name (Eric Stahl) was added to the bottom of the waiting list. The board asked staff to continue contacting applicants in order and to return with updated contact details.
Board members discussed whether any immediate action was required; staff said no immediate board action was necessary other than preparing the updated documents and collecting signatures. The board asked that the updated list and lease documents be brought back for signature at the next meeting if the co-chair is available; otherwise, signatures may be collected at a future meeting.
Separately, members agreed to wait to notify specific aircraft owners about construction-related removal until Lance confirms firm dates. Staff said they will pursue registry lookups by tail number and other contact sources to reach owners if necessary.
