The committee recommended Eide Bailey based on the combined scoring of technical qualifications and cost. Trustees who participated in the selection process told the board they were impressed by the quality of all proposals and confident in the committee’s scoring.
Why it matters: the internal auditor monitors fiscal controls and compliance and typically serves multi‑year contracts; the decision sets the firm that will perform internal audit services for the district going forward. The board approved the recommendation by voice vote.
Board members thanked the audit committee for its work and said they expect a strong relationship with the selected firm.
