Eisenhower literacy coach describes Cambridge Global Perspectives project for 7th graders

Daniela Clark, literacy coach at Eisenhower Middle School, told meeting attendees that students completed a Cambridge Global Perspectives project designed to develop global-learning skills.
"The students are working on a project that was designed by Cambridge, which is our global perspective learning curriculum," Clark said. She said the project asks students to work in teams to "collaborate, analyze, and evaluate, and at the end, they reflect." Clark added, "This project is grade level specific, but Cambridge goes throughout primary through higher secondary."
Clark said this was the first Cambridge Global Perspectives project the school's students have completed and that seventh grade was the first grade able to finish the entire project. She also said the skills taught by the curriculum are embedded in daily instruction and that Eisenhower Middle School is "moving forward and we're rowing together for success."
Clark closed by thanking school administrators and teachers, saying, "I greatly appreciate mister Finch and our administrative staff, and the teachers here are absolutely amazing."
