Calimesa council appoints two commissioners and approves consent agenda; TUF ordinance hearing continued to Feb. 3

The council voted 5-0 to approve the agenda and consent calendar, including corrected minutes. The vote was announced as "passes 5-0."
The council continued a public hearing on a proposed ordinance and fee schedule to adopt participation in the TUF program (a fee schedule developed by member agencies of WRCOG) and set the item for the Feb. 3 meeting to allow additional staff review. Council approved the continuance by voice vote, recorded as 5-0.
The council also ratified two appointments: Julie Saba to the Library Commission (Resolution No. 2025-3) and Luis Acino (last name pronounced "Encisal" in the meeting) to the Planning Commission (Resolution No. 2025-4). Both appointments were approved by majority vote and recorded as unanimous: adoption votes were announced as 5-0 for each resolution. The mayor administered the oath of office to both appointees during the meeting.
