The board also tabled a library-materials approval to align with a policy-date change.
The board approved a revision to policy 201, which moves the kindergarten age-of-entry cutoff to a new date (the change will take effect for the 2026–27 school year, per board statements). Board members said the change aligns Penncrest with neighboring districts and gives families time to plan.
Under the education consent agenda, the board approved items b–j but removed and tabled item e (library materials approval) so the administration can align the approval timing to the revised policy date (policy 109.2, library materials, is under first reading and proposes moving a July approval to June).
