Angela O’Brien, deputy consumers counsel for the Office of the Ohio Consumers Council, told the Mentor City Council on Jan. 21 that FirstEnergy has filed for a distribution rate increase and urged local residents to participate in the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio process.
