SAN JUAN COUNTY, Utah — The San Juan County Commission approved Jan. 21 an award to Brown Brothers Construction for this year’s gravel‑crushing contract at the Zeke’s Hole site.
Public Works staff said the low bid from Brown Brothers (Lowell, Utah) lets the county increase its crushed‑material yield to about 36,000 cubic yards, up from a previously budgeted 25,000 yards. TJ, representing Public Works, told commissioners the contract will be executed and crushing scheduled this spring.
The commission voted unanimously to award the contract.
Ending: Public Works will finalize the contract with Brown Brothers and report progress to the commission as crushing and delivery progress begins.
