Wright County commissioners approve routine minutes, contracts and appointments; multiple resolutions pass unanimously

Wright County commissioners on Tuesday approved a slate of routine business and formal actions including minutes, resolutions, an interim appointment and procurement-authority items.

The board unanimously approved the meeting agenda and the consent agenda after one consent item (a Cisco multiyear enterprise agreement) was approved subject to completion of minor legal review and signatures being withheld pending the attorney's office. The board also adopted several resolutions affecting transportation projects and county contracts and confirmed an interim county surveyor appointment.

Board actions included formal approval of minutes from recent meetings with a modification to the Dec. 17 minutes; adoption of a resolution for final payment on contract 2401; designation of the Monticello Times as an alternate official county newspaper; approval to submit an application for inclusion in the Nationwide Monarch Butterfly Candidate Conservation Agreement; adoption of a resolution to publish legal notices for transportation projects on the county website under Minnesota Statute 331A.12; and approval of a highway right-of-way plat (Wright County Highway Right of Way Plat No. 76) for a future roundabout.
