Prairie Creek reports award-winning All School Book Club, steady academics and financial planning ahead of 2026 contract renewal

Tyler opened by describing Prairie Creek's All School Book Club, a teacher-initiated, whole-school literacy program that Prairie Creek developed over two to three years and has refined through teacher-led professional development. "We refined it. We've now shared it out at 2 national conferences, and the Your School Book Club was honored with the Minnesota Association of Child Schools Innovation Award in 2024," Tyler said. He told the board the school has settled on reading three books a year as part of the program.
