Miami-Dade School Board adopts two-year calendars for 2025–26 and 2026–27 after joint committee review

He said this year’s process produced two-year drafts to give families and staff more advance notice and planning time.
Board members praised the two-year approach and asked staff to continue considering religious observances and testing windows as they refine future drafts. The board approved the calendars by voice vote; the transcript records the motion, a second and the board chair saying, “All in favor say aye.”
