The Dearborn City School District P-12 Board of Education held its annual organizational meeting Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, where two newly elected trustees were sworn in, the board elected officers for the 2025 calendar year and approved six routine vendor and service appointments in a single, unanimous roll-call motion.
The meeting opened at about 7 p.m. with the administration of the oath of office to two new board members. Jamal Aljami was sworn in with the oath administered by Sayed Al Watih. Amar Zahar was sworn in with the oath administered by Kareem Zahar.
