Dearborn school board approves 16 action items in single unanimous vote

The Dearborn City School District Board of Education approved 16 action items in a single omnibus motion moved by Trustee Berry and supported by Trustee Petlichkoff; the board recorded a unanimous roll call in the affirmative.
The motion covered items numbered 1 through 16 as listed on the agenda. The board secretary read the recommended action and Trustee Berry moved that the action items be approved "as recommended in this agenda." Trustee Petlichkoff supported the motion, and the president announced a unanimous roll call for approval.
The board subsequently read a summary of the approved items. The list included approval of warrants; an award to Riddell All American; several change orders; approval of change orders per Board Report 24‑79; an award to CAMI; approvals of instructional and noninstructional personnel items for p‑12; approval of the financial statement; approval of two 2024‑2025 superintendent goals; awards to Byram and Fisk and to Quinn Evans; and approval of donations.
Trustees asked one clarifying question about the timetable for the community engagement item (item 15) and were told the timetable will be addressed "in the next few months." The board attached the superintendent evaluation to the omnibus motion, and several trustees used the subsequent board‑discussion time to comment on that evaluation and the metrics it contains.
