LeClaire said the applicant was unable to attend the Jan. 16 meeting and that the matter would be heard formally on Feb. 6. A resident who had come to speak on the application told the hearing officer, “I came to speak on it. I’m against it.” No further testimony or details about the resident’s concerns were recorded on the meeting record.
LeClaire formally granted the requested continuance and adjourned the meeting. The Feb. 6 agenda will include the full hearing on the ADU application; staff and the applicant will present and the public will have an opportunity to comment at that time.
