The McAllen Independent School District Board of Trustees held a public hearing on the district’s 2023–24 district annual report and Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) at its Jan. 17 meeting.
Associate Superintendent Janet Nino told trustees the TAPR was published to districts Dec. 12, 2024, and that the hearing satisfied Texas Administrative Code 61.1022 and Texas Education Code 39.306 requirements. She said the district posted public notice Dec. 18, 2024.
