The Local Planning Agency on Jan. 16 approved an amendment to the Hobe Sound Community Redevelopment Area subdistrict map, changing a 7.97–7.98-acre property on the west side of U.S. 1 (Federal Highway) from the general subdistrict to the corridor subdistrict, allowing an existing recreational vehicle (RV) park use to be permitted there.
Senior planner John Sennott presented the staff report, which noted the subject property at 10705 Southeast Federal Highway sits within the Hobe Sound CRA and is bounded by Dixie Highway and Porter Boulevard. The…
