At its Jan. 16 meeting the Wausau Transit Commission recorded the following formal outcomes in unanimous voice votes unless otherwise noted:
- Approval of minutes from Nov. 21, 2024. Motion by Commissioner Lukens; second by Commissioner Zorn. Outcome: approved by voice vote.
- Authorization to release a request for proposals for a condition assessment and renovation/relocation feasibility study for the operations building. Motion by Commissioner Lukens; second by Commissioner Zorn. Outcome: approved by voice vote. Staff said funding for the study already exists and no budget amendment is required.
- Reclassification of the transit administrative assistant to office manager (forwarded to HR). Motion by Commissioner Lukens; second by Commissioner Zorn. Outcome: approved by voice vote. Staff said the reclassification addresses a state audit recommendation and will be sent to the city human resources department for formal approval.
- Motion to adjourn. Outcome: approved by voice vote.
