Commission permits relocation of visible conduit for previously installed solar at West Street property

No members of the public spoke in opposition. Commissioners moved to accept the remediation as proposed and recorded an affirmative vote. Chair and commissioners asked the installer to follow the originally proposed route when feasible and to paint or otherwise minimize visible conduit if it cannot be fully concealed.
The commission’s approval is conditioned on completing the relocation to the basement and repairing visible exterior penetrations; the installer said they will restore wall finishes and submit photos or otherwise notify staff when remediation is complete.
