Commissioners asked about rails, paint/finish and how removed elements would be reused or replicated; the applicant said removed decorative pieces would be taken to a shop for replication and that painted finishes and color matches would be retained. The project also includes a new concrete walkway, repaired stairs, and a new bulkhead at the basement entrance.
A public hearing produced no opposition. The commission voted to approve the scope as described and asked the applicant to return if any substitutions in material or changes to visible design are proposed.
