County updates: Eversource demand survey, Riverside sewer planning, sheriff signers and nonpublic session

Riverside sewer: Staff said the Riverside sewer project is in planning. The vendor is finalizing a plan that will require displacing some residents during work; staff said each section will likely require 5–7 days and the county aims to start in March and complete low‑capacity work by April, with detailed resident‑relocation and kitchen accommodations planned in advance.
Administrative items: The sheriff requested that two additional sheriff’s office employees be added as signers on the sheriff’s office account; commissioners said authorization paperwork is needed and staff will add the item to the signature authorization process. Finally, the board voted unanimously to enter a nonpublic session for contract negotiations later in the agenda (the minutes record the vote to move into nonpublic session for contract negotiations).
