Council accepts annual conflict-of-interest disclosures from officials and employees

- Melissa Frasier — clerk-treasurer; disclosed her husband, Vince Frazier, is a full-time mechanic for the town and receives compensation and benefits per Town Salary Ordinance 2024-15.
- Sean Young — director of operations; disclosed spouse Carmen Young's employment with the town and referenced the salary ordinance.
- Vince Frazier — mechanic; disclosed spouse Melissa Frasier's elected position and mutual compensation.
- Brian Smith — deputy marshal; disclosed part-time employment with TXC Solutions, which provides services to the town and police department; he stated he is not involved in contracts or purchases and receives direct pay from TXC.
- Tyler Croy — police lieutenant; disclosed ownership of TXC Solutions LLC (DBA TXC Solutions), which provides electronic equipment, IT and security goods and services to the town.
After reading the statements, councilmember motioned to accept the disclosures into the record; the council approved the motion by roll call (affirmative votes recorded: Tim Brown, Michael Decker, Deborah Hendrickson, Richard Hill, and others totaling a 5-0 approval reported in the record).
Council discussion included staff clarification that spousal relationships were disclosed "in the abundance of caution" even if not strictly required, and that disclosures would remain on file. A councilmember asked whether the town still used Pershing’s company for telephone services; staff said the vendor relationships were described in the statements.
