Dr. Martin, presenting curriculum work developed during 2024, told the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Board of Education on Jan. 15 that the district has produced K–12 curriculum frameworks and will publish the 6–12 frameworks to the district website ahead of a wider rollout.
The framework project, Martin said, was “a labor of love” and a collaborative effort by classroom teachers, intervention specialists and instructional coaches. He described frameworks as high-level, standards-anchored documents that guide the more detailed curriculum maps teachers use for unit planning and assessments.
