The Safety Harbor Code Enforcement Board on Jan. 15, 2025, accepted affidavits of compliance in three compliance items and approved corrected and submitted records, voting unanimously on each motion.
Minutes: The board approved the minutes from its Dec. 18, 2024, meeting by voice vote after a motion to approve and a second; the motion passed unanimously.
Compliance items: The board accepted a corrected affidavit of compliance in CEB 18-028 (City of Safety Harbor v. Conrad A. Palachnik, 1432 Oak Haven Drive). The board then accepted an affidavit of compliance and proof of mailing for CEB 24-0237 (City of Safety Harbor v. Gloria J. Gilchrist, trustee; parcel on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street) and accepted the board order and affidavit of compliance in CEB 24-0252 (City of Safety Harbor v. Beta Bay Remodel and Design LLC, Enterprise Road parcel). Each motion was seconded and approved by roll call with all members voting "aye."
Board procedure notes: Where an affidavit had coding errors the board accepted the corrected affidavit and treated the compliance items as closed while evidence remained open. The clerk and staff presented USPS proof of mailing and affidavits of compliance as the basis for each motion. The board recorded no dissent on these items.
Actions taken and voting: For each compliance item and the minutes approval the board recorded unanimous approval in the meeting record; the motions were procedural and closed the listed cases from the agenda.
