"My name is Melissa Nikolakakos. That's N I K O L A K A K O S. And I am from House District 20 in the heart of Great Falls," Nikolakakos said in opening the bill. She said the change responds to ongoing teacher shortages, particularly in rural districts, and that the existing temporary allowance has helped districts hire quality educators.
