The clerk read the executive-session purpose and statutory authority for the closed meeting, citing Section 24-6-402(4)(e) and (b) of the Colorado Revised Statutes (matters subject to negotiations and attorney-client privileged legal advice). The clerk also stated that, as required by statute, the executive-session proceedings would be electronically recorded and that the record would be preserved for 90 days, through April 14, 2025.
Trustees voted by roll call to enter the closed session. The meeting then directed non-participants to exit the room and proceeded to the executive session. No substantive negotiation positions or confidential legal advice were disclosed in public minutes or during the open portion of the meeting.
