Glendora Pony Colt leaders outline 60-year history, volunteer-run operations and succession concerns

Linda Denman, president of Glendora Pony Colt Baseball, told the Recreation and Human Services Commission the league has served Glendora youth “continuously for more than 60 years” and described a volunteer-run operation that maintains fields and programs year-round.
Denman said the league tracks multiple measures of success: tradition, player retention and preparation for high school play. “If success is measured by tradition, Glendora Pony has served the city's youth continuously for more than 60 years,” Denman said. She added that “over the past three years, 100% of eligible players have returned for a second season and beyond.”
