Design review presentation for 1265 North Biscayne Point Road continued after no quorum

The Design Review Board heard an informational presentation on Jan. 16, 2025, about revisions to a proposed single‑family house at 1265 North Biscayne Point Road but did not take formal action because only three board members were present.

Rogelio, a DRB staff member, told the room, "Given that only 3 members are present, we require 4 for a quorum. The meeting is, technically not taking place." He added that "all of the items on the agenda will be continued to the February 13th meeting automatically." The applicant presented the revisions so the three board members present and the public could review the changes ahead of the next public hearing.

The applicant, represented by attorney Matt Hamster of the law firm Burk Howard, L. Fernandez, Larkin and Tapanes, said the owner is 1265 NBP LLC and that owner Yannick Ayache was present.
