Staff recommended applying for an LPRF grant to fund an all-inclusive playground at Centennial Park and said a donor has offered $100,000 to the project. "We are recommending to apply for LPRF grant for, inclusive playground equipment. We have a donor, that's interested in giving a $100,000 toward this project," a staff member said.

During the work session one speaker referred to typical grant matches as "5050," and staff said the city will pursue maximizing grant funds and pair donor funding to increase the project's budget. Council directed staff to add the LPRF letter of intent and application to the agenda for formal approval of submission.
