Planning commission accepts withdrawal of Aiken Knoll plat application

The City of Farmington Planning Commission closed a public hearing and accepted the withdrawal of the combined preliminary and final plat application for Aiken Knoll at its Jan. 14 meeting.
Planning staff member Tony said the applicant has continued the application several times while working through unresolved utility decisions, and that staff and the applicant agreed withdrawal was appropriate. "The applicant is still working through some utility decisions that they have to make in regards to the development itself," Tony said.
The commission voted to close the public hearing and accept the withdrawal. The roll call recorded affirmative votes from Commissioner Windscheidle, Commissioner Teske, Commissioner Leidle and Commissioner Snowback.
No action was taken on the plat itself; the developer will reapply to the commission once utility issues are resolved.
The withdrawal ends the item for the commission; any future consideration will return to the commission as a new or refiled application when the applicant submits revised materials addressing utilities.
