Hillsborough County Arts Council details FY2026 cultural development grant rules, deadlines

The Arts Council of Hillsborough County on a webinar reminded prospective applicants that the cultural development grant is for general operating support and not program-by-program funding, and stressed that the application deadline is Friday, Jan. 24, 2025, at 5 p.m.

Martine, a staff member with the Arts Council of Hillsborough County, told applicants: "This is for general operating support and not specific program details," and urged organizations to describe broadly "who you are and what you do" rather than waiting to have every 2026 activity scheduled. Martine said grant reviewers will be informed that state funding is "very much up in the air," and reviewers will understand incomplete future-year schedules when they evaluate applications.
