Concord Planning Board elects chair and vice chair, clears consent items and schedules continuances

The Concord Planning Board elected new leadership for the year, approved routine consent items and minutes, and agreed to move several agenda items to future meetings at applicants’ requests.
At the start of the Jan. 15 meeting the board elected Rich Woodfin as chair and Matthew (Matt) Hicks as vice chair by voice vote. The motions were seconded and carried; no votes against were recorded on the audio.
The board approved the Dec. 18 meeting minutes after a motion and second, and approved consent-design review applications listed as items 5(a)–5(d) with architectural recommendations. The board also granted continuances at the applicants’ requests for multiple agenda items: items 8(b) and 8(d) were continued to the Feb. 19 Planning Board meeting, and item 8(a) (72 Manchester Street minor site plan) was continued to the March 19 meeting.
The chair noted that items 8(a), 8(b) and 8(d) were removed from the current meeting agenda because applicants requested continuances. Several motions on routine matters were carried by voice vote. No controversial issues were raised during the consent agenda.
The board adjourned at the end of the scheduled business.
