Provo — At a Jan. 14 study session, the Provo School District Board of Education reviewed a rewritten Board of Education handbook and opened discussion about leadership roles that will be formally nominated at the business meeting later in the evening.
Gina Hales, a board member, led the handbook review and emphasized that “every action we take should advance the priorities of our strategic plan,” saying the handbook is meant to compile norms, responsibilities and protocols so members can align decisions across schools and departments.
