Foster said Hoppy provided an estimate of about $180,000 to add the missing field items but that, "with credits," the district might reduce that figure to roughly $134,000. He told the board the district has identified approximately $60,000 in its current budget that could be applied while staff and legal counsel investigate whether the work can be added by change order or requires rebidding.
"If that's going to be discussed in that, we'll move that to executive," Board attorney Brian West said when a public commenter raised a student-related matter; West asked the commenter to speak to the board in executive session because it involved a student. (The board subsequently scheduled the student matter for executive session.)
