Sarpy County OKs $6,480 Microsoft Teams phone assessment with TechNet UC LLC

Sarpy County commissioners approved a master services agreement and quote with TechNet UC LLC to assess and recommend optimizations for the county’s Microsoft Teams phone environment on Jan. 14, 2025.
PJ Podrowski of Sarpy County Technology Services told commissioners the county migrated from an Avaya phone system in the prior year and has seen operational savings. He said TechNet will provide a comprehensive assessment and "actionable recommendations" to improve system reliability and efficiency. "With this resolution, we're seeking your approval for a managed services agreement with Technet UC," Podrowski said.
The statement of work and assessment are intended to identify configuration and usage changes that will maximize the county’s Teams investment; implementation of recommendations would be handled by county IT staff or subsequent procurement if additional services are required. The quoted amount for the assessment in the resolution was $6,480. A motion to approve the agreement passed 5-0.
The county will proceed with the assessment and return to the board if further contracts or purchases are recommended following TechNet’s report.
